Russell’s Landscape Service is a family owned local company in business in the Salem area since 1965.  Our goal is to provide quality service to our customers for a fair price.

To put to your service our combined experience of local weather conditions, planting materials, and knowledge of what grows best in our small corner of the beautiful Pacific Northwest.   

We are very familiar with local soils.  We use local growers and suppliers that offer variety and  quality of materials appropriate to the growing conditions of our region.

Who We Are

Our team is led by Greg Russell.  Born and raised in Salem, he is an Oregon
State Graduate from the College of Agriculture.  His degree in Landscape and Horticulture provides him with solid knowledge of plant materials, soil types, as well as weed control and eradication techniques. 

Our Landscape teams are lead by John Brandtjen, a native from Ohio who moved to Oregon in the early 80’s. He is our Landscape Projects Manager.  He has many years of experience on the areas of irrigation, masonry, carpentry, retaining wall installation and decking.  He has an excellent eye for detail.

Our Grounds Maintenance team is lead by Carmen Spangler. She and the rest of our lead workers are a group if very hard working and dedicated individuals who truly enjoy their job.  Many of them have been with our company for almost 20 years.  They make a professional,
expert, and friendly team. They lead their crews with pride and feel that they make a difference one yard at a time.
